About
ANTHONY DEAN GRIFFEY
PROMO:
SDNN theater critic Pat Launer sat down with tenor Anthony Dean Griffey, between rehearsals for the Benjamin Britten opera, “Peter Grimes.” He talks about how he approaches a complex acting/singing role like the title character, and how he takes his mind off the intensive preparation by watching cartoons. Griffey reprises his acclaimed Metropolitan Opera performance at the San Diego Opera, April 18-26.
